Glasson Stuns Regional Racers In Texas |

Cole Sets Fast Time, Takes Pole and podiums both days with two engine packages.A seven year old shows up to run a regional race in Texas with drivers from multiple states. He's never run a cadet on this track before. It is a small technical track with a 28 second lap time. What experienced kart racing enthusiast would give him a chance of qualifying up front or getting on the podium? Maybe the guard is changing in the karting world because Cole took the pole and set fast time as the youngest driver in the field.
There were two races and he would run one engine package on Saturday and another on Sunday. When he put on his super fast Comer 60 they made Cole load on 25 extra pounds and he still qualified up front. On Sunday he loaded on a Tornado Engines Gazelle Tag 60 (www.tornadoengines.com) and he set fast time taking the pole and stunning onlookers. When Cole climbed on the podium both days with a second and third overall in the finals it was evident that he was almost a foot shorter than the eleven year olds he was racing against, but he's quickly becoming a big name in the sport.
Cole got freight trained on the start because he's new to the track and rolling starts. He came from 5th to third. He made an amazing drive for his age. Congratulations Cole, thanks for making us look so good. Your hard work is paying off!
