Cole Takes Over 1st in SWRC Series |
| Cole traveled with his pit crew and family to Austin, Texas this past weekend to race in the SWRC Regional Series. As usual, it was a tremendous field of drivers with lap times within a second or two all weekend. In qualifying, the top 10 to 15 drivers were within 10th's of each other in the 20 kart field. Although we had some broken tie rods, broken seat, and carb issues, Cole had a great showing with a 2nd in Saturday's final and 1st in Sunday's final which moves him into 1st place in the series points with one race weekend remaining. Cole also turned the fastets lap time of the series at a 49.83 which set the track record for that configuration. Special thanks to all of those that helped during the "crisis" moments to keep Cole on the track. |
