Another Win |
| This weekend gave us back to back race weekends of great results in the prefinals and poor results in the finals. The qualifying sessions started out with Cole putting his Mini Max on pole once again with the help of his tuner and coach DJ Ortiz. His pole position put him almost 1/2 second faster than the rest of the field. In the prefinal, Cole took the lead into turn 1 and never looked back beating the field by almost 50 yards. In the prefinal he turned his own personal record best dipping into the 39's 5 of the ten laps. He also notched his 66th win of his short racing career. In the K80 as he prepares for the first STARS race of the year, he was on his backup. He ran his fastest times yet in the K80 during practice but the prefinal and finals brought engine troubles as we lost a screw from the carbureator into the engine that caused a significant slowdown of the motor. Hopefully Outlaw 4 will bring us better luck as Cole will need to win the Mini Max final to get into the money hunt for the series. |
